Some of Earth’s most exciting sports are awash with Kevan’s creations. The sport of speed-skiing is literally defined by his many helmet, pole, and body fairing designs. Racers in his equipment broke the World Speed Record over two dozen times.

The same thing is now happening in the skateboard world as a new generation of long boarders have discovered his helmets and speed accessories. Kevan has long been a key player in the evolution of ski-bike design and technique. For the past 35 years he has continually refined his designs to keep them at the forefront of this global sport.

After breaking the World Speed Record on his home-made ski-bike, many of his innovations began to appear on his competitors products as well! The sport of street luge has also been changed forever. After Canadian racer Ross Baradoy brought one of Kevan’s fully-faired luges to the World Speed Trials in Brazil, other racers realized that without similar aerodynamics they weren’t even in the race!

Kevan Leycraft began to demonstrate a talent for design and sculpture even as a pre-schooler. His habit of building his own toys and collecting tools evolved over the decades into the ability to design and construct anything he or his clients can imagine. 

His fields of expertise include design, sculpting, painting, welding, industrial fabricating, mechanical animation, engineering, prototype development and testing, large-scale theme park sculpture as well as props and gizmos for film and television.

From amazingly life-like, flexible full-size dinosaurs such as Kevan’s teen-age T-Rex “Tyrone” pictured here next to the custom-built car for his daughter Alexis, whatever you imagine can be created by sculptor/inventor, Kevan Leycraft!

From full-size horse sculptures such as Irricana’s “Ol’ Smokey” to whimsical tree bed frames and funky outdoor art such as this dinosaur skeleton (pictured below), the only limitation is a human’s imagination!

The Coors Light “Wingman” from the TV commercial “Bring Us Your Brave” is flying on 20’ wings constructed by Kevan Leycraft.

Kevan’s custom-built polyester-covered lightweight plastic wing frame and adjustable harness are all hidden under a generous covering of over 10,000 feathers!
